how was your spring?
10 fun questions and prompts to provoke thought, reflection and conversation (✿◠ᴗ◠)
“spring is nature’s way of saying, ‘let’s party!’”
it felt like spring never truly sprung this year? statistically, it was the coldest november we’ve had (in melbourne) in 80 years so it’s easy to think only of the chilly mornings and wet weekends. upon further reflection, i recount fondly the longer and brighter days, beautiful flowers in bloom and the lingering sense of achievement for surviving winter.
i always associate spring with my birthday (scorpio’s rise up!!), flowers and a fresh start. much like the fashion world, specifically vogue, september is the marker of a reset to me - the last opportunity to get cracking on those yearly goals you’re yet to start.
a few months ago i wrote a similar post reflecting on winter and i really enjoyed both the process and the positive feedback. i’m a very reflective person and probably associate deeper meaning to more things than necessary but hey, maybe i’m just a creative?? it feels silly to celebrate the start of summer because well.. the forecast suggests otherwise but alas, spring is certainly over.
so, here are 10 questions for you to reflect on or ask someone you love:
the perfect song to encapsulate spring 2025 would be -
how have you grown since last spring? what has changed in your life?
did you do any spring cleaning (both literal and metaphorical) this season? what does that process mean to you?
what seeds are you planting in your life for the coming months?
what is your favourite flower and why?
what is blossoming in your life right now?
describe your perfect spring day.
if spring were a person in your life, who would it be?
what spring trend are you bringing with you to summer?
by spring 2026, i hope to have…
thanks for taking a moment with me, hello summer! ☀︎
